Popcornapalooza Time (Take 4)

It’s that time of year again.

And, yes! one must sing that song while popping corn. Why? Because it annoys the children and annoying the children is FUN! “Mo-om, stop. Mo-oo-om!” You get the picture don’t you? The more syllables in mom, the more annoyed they are. OH, and dancing around a bit while singing makes for more annoyance, too. And it is even better (for me) if there are friends over. Man, talk about a jackpot for mom. :) It’s a good thing my children know I love them. They also know that the more of this I get, the more annoying I become – at prime times.

So, back to popcorn (are you singing?). Here’s this year’s rundown of offerings (let me know if you want something):

Popcornapalooza Time (take 3)

As I have mentioned in the past two years Mc is in the Boy Scouts. Each year the boy scouts sold lots and lots of popcorn as the number one biggest way for these boys to earn money for camping trips and other field trips. It’s that time again. Trails End Popcorn is some (if not the) best popcorn on the market. While we thought it was expensive the first year we sold it, we quickly changed our minds about paying that price. Once you taste it, you will agree too. If you would like to support my boy scout with a purchase of popcorn via the Internet system you can see what they have to offer here; please follow the instruction at the top of the page so my Mc gets credit.

If none of those suit your fancy, but you still would like some yummy Trails End popcorn then stay right here to see what this year has to offer; there a few new options this year. I think you will be pleased. Since the items on this page can not be drop shipped, leave me a comment or drop me note to let me know what you would like and we will work out the shipping arrangements.

What do you get when . . .

you sit outside at a local grocery store from 9:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday morning, never shifting your seat, with a total of about 37 boys (helping over the course of the five hours) selling Trails-End popcorn for the boy scout pack your son is in? Oh, you give up already? Shame on you. I guess you gave up because you have never done that. Or maybe you gave up because your boy is not a Boy Scout (he should be). Maybe you gave up because you do not know that Trails-End is the B.E.S.T popcorn ever.

The answer is: a poke in the eye?
pokeye_wm

No.
the real answer is: a sunburn on half of your face.
faceburn_wm

This picture does NOT do the sunburn justice. If you look closely at my neck, you can see more of the difference in my pale white skin and the new, soon to be tan skin.

p.s.
I have got to figure out how to get rid of all the yellow in all my pictures – it is driving me crazy. I know it is just a setting I need to fix, but I do not know which one.

p.p.s.
I am so proud of these boys today; they sold over $1,300.00 on the first time ever at a Boy Scout Show and Sell!

I’ve been roped!

HA! It seems I may be the Popcorn Chairman/Chairperson/ChairMom for Boys Scout Pack 59. WooHoo! Alright! I’m in charge!

Actually, it shouldn’t be too hard – this year I get to do everything electronically. It’s the money count I’m dreadding. Each Den is supposed to do their own count when they hand it in to me. Then I do the double check count and enter the orders into the computer. I can do that. Oh, yeah, I have to make phone calls too. I can do that. Can you tell I’m talking myself into all this. I figure if I volunteer now and get it over with I won’t have to do as much later, like in the spring, when I know I will not have as much time. For the first time ever this year the boys will have their own personal order number that they can give out to friends and family for them to place their own orders via the web. Keep a watch out for the link on the right; as soon as I have his number I’ll post it. I should get it tomorrow. They can even order year round. Ok that really excites me! Maybe a little too much. I mean, awesome chocolate covered pretzels by Trails End year round, does that not do something for anyone else out there? Come on, this stuff is good!!

BTW, I just counted my use of ! and I don’t think I used enough yet. So let me just say one more time how much I love the Trails End Popcorn items!!! I also must admit that I haven’t done proper promotion of the other products so here’s a list:
