Glory Baby

Thanks to friends on facebook and twitter and emails and dms and links and I could go on, we feel loved and blessed to have the friends we do; the Internet can be totally amazing some times. More than one friend shared this with me and so I post it now.

Mama, Mikey, and medical

Last week I announced we were expecting another wee babe. We learned it on Monday. Announced it to some on Monday and the rest of the world on Tuesday. Wednesday evening there was reason to fear another loss. Without going into the TMI details I want to tell you what happened and where things stand now and to ask you to pray for us.

It was a bit late Wednesday night and as the children were already tucked in bed and having been through this before we decided to wait until Thursday morning to go to the ER. I realize that many people think this is strange, but there were many factors that went that decision.

She will also see me even though we don’t have insurance. Granted it will be expensive, but none of the other docs in town will see anyone without insurance.

I have played this game with each one of my children when they were all little piggies themselves and they have each squealed with delight always asking to do it again and again. I obliged each and every time starting over and over with each big fat baby toe ending with a tickling of “wee wee wee” all the way up their bellies, necks, and chins, kissing them all over the chubby baby cheeks to end the rhyme.

Every now and then Bairno will still ask me to play piggies with is toes. I oblige.
