Papoose

Originally for today I was going to post an obligatory Thanksgiving Day post with a twist about how all the picture books got it wrong.

Then I decided not to post at all today and throw NaBloPoMo all together.

Then I thought about writing something else entirely non-Thanksgiving Day-ish because every one else is or will and it might be refreshing to post something other than.

Then one thing after another happened today besides a Thanksgiving meal.

The table broke; we were hammering back together right before we served dinner.

After dinner as the leftovers were being put away RevMrKnowTea discovered the refrigerator was not working.

But the food was good, the oven still works.

There was still turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cornbread dressing, cranberries, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and birthday cake.

Papoose. Papoose. Papoose. (because saying the word papoose is fun?)
